The play bases of the basic locket sets have no markings, but they should be distinct due their puzzle-like design. All the bases are made of purple plastic with a multi-coloured sticker decal, and measure 4 inches in both width and length. The mold of each land piece is the same with multitude of tiny holes under sticker (visible if you look at the base against a bright light) and, if the set came with a play piece, the appropriate holes were punctured by the manufacturer. The way each land piece is punctured depends completely on what play piece it came with. Of course, there have been mishaps where a child has, punctured more holes themselves: these are NOT rare variations worth a billion dollars.

The Locket houses are less than two inches tall each, this measurement changes a bit from house to house. Each house has the same text underneath; "© 1989 L.G.T.I. CHINA". The locket necklaces have no markings, but they should be easy to recognize: they all share the same mold, nd only vary in colour. The accessories, unfortunately, have no markings and are often the hardest to recognize.

The Locket houses were produced in several colours in different sets. In addition many prototype colour variations can be seen in many advertisements, but it is unlikely that more than just one of each prototype was produced. If these were ever to surface, they would be considered extremely rare or even unique. The play bases and accessory pieces were also offered with many different sets, sometimes in different colours.

Please note that although the colors of the stands have been marked here, each set could come with any colour stand from the color combo available (5 different colours were produced), as long as it was the right shape. So, when assembling a complete set, the color of the stand does not matter, but the shape does.

Playset base:A lawn with flowers and a stoned pavement with a stoned path leading to it from one corner- the stones are yellow and pink. Also two flower pots with little trees in them on both sides of the path.
Locket:A purple flower shop with aqua roof and accents
Play piece: Yellow wheelbarow with a floral decal inside

Set: Diner locket playset

Brush: I have seen this come with a lighter pink brush, but the MIB set from USA has standard. It is possible the light brush came with the European version.

Set: Locket Village
This huge set came with eight locket houses, eight playset bases, four necklaces, play piece(s) for each set (7 pieces in total as one set includes two pieces of fence), six colts, six kids and a stand for exch colt and kid (bar one). The houses were, as far as I know, sold in separate packagings as regular sets.
House 1: "Village Barn", blue barn with pink roof. Yellow rooster with blue accents on top. Playset base: a farm base with a cabbage patch, a wind mill and duck pond. Play piece: pink fence. Additional notes:
House 2: "Boutique", Boutique-house, aqua market with hot pink roof, sale-stickers in window-decals. Playset base: a lawn with a pink tiling, a pink tile bath and a kitten playing with ball on lawn. Lawn has one hole for the sign. Play piece: pink sign with decal "Cutie Club boutique". Additional notes:
House 3: "Mini Mart", yellow market with hot pink roof, with decal "Mini Mart". Playset base: Pink concrete base on a lawn, two blue birds eating and some fruits in baskets. Play piece: Green shopping cart.

A gray tiled area on lawn with three leading gray-tiled paths. No punctured holes. Play piece: A green park-style bench. House 7: "Town Home", a light blue country cottage-style house with pink roof and a chimney. Playset base: base with a swimming pool, a series of holes in the front where two little fences fit, and tiled areas of pink and purple stones. House 8: "Band Stand, a purple gazebo with see-through door, purple roof with aqua and red accents. A tile pavement with three tiny holes on the rounded part of pavement. Play piece: A green circle that attaches to three tiny holes on the base, either meant as a fountain, as flower bed or possibly a ring for a kid? Additional notes:



Colt 1: Dark green colt with yellow hair, yellow hooves, CC-symbol on one side and a rollerskate on the other side. Came with a (yellow) flower-shaped stand.
Colt 2: Yellow zebra colt with hot pink hair and hot pink/purple stripes, black hooves, CC-symbols. Came with a (yellow) round stand with three holes.
Colt 3: Hot pinkish-purple sprinkle colt with blue and green dots all over body. Purple hair, white hooves, symbol: CC-mark inside a green circle that looks like an ameba. Came with a yellow heart-shaped stand.
Colt 4: Purple colt with blue hair, hot pink hooves, CC-symbol on one side and a butterfly and a ball on the other side. Came with a (yellow) oval stand with three holes.
Colt 5: Pink colt with blue areas all over body, white hair, aqua hooves, CC-symbols. Came with a yellow square-shaped stand.
Colt 6: Blue zebra colt with peach and white hair and red/hot pink stripes, peach hooves, CC-symbols. Came with a (purple) cloud-shaped stand.


Kid 1: Pants-suit, pink hair on pigtails, purple shirt with a heart, yellow pants, pink shoes. Came with a hot pink round stand with two holes.
Kid 2: Swimsuit-kid, blue hair, purple swim suit with CC-text, white shoes. Came with a (yellow) square stand.
Kid 3: Swimsuit-kid, peach and white hair, pink swim suit with a sail boat symbol, blue shoes. Came with a yellow square stand.
Kid 4: Dress suit, blue hair on pigtails, white shirt with CC-text, hot pink belt, pink skirt, hot pink socks, blue shoes. Came with a (yellow) round stand with jagged edge.
Kid 5: Bridal suit kid, purple hair, aqua skirt with three red roses, a pink shirt. Green collar-version (one with white collar exists as well). No stand.
Kid 6: Ballerina kid. Pink hair, dark blue tutu, aqua leotard and shoes, purple-pink stockings. Came with a (yellow) heart-shaped stand.

Additional notes: Instruction sheet scans: Scan 1, Scan 2. This set came with only one standard brush, dark pink. The set came with an instruction sheet that explained which piece went with which set, and it connects the buildings, playset bases and play pieces easily, but there is no record of the necklaces. The set did come with only 4 necklaces: yellow, hot pink, purple and green. Additional pictures of the set:
